Roy Nash has been with the Heart of Texas Builders Association since 1994, when he became a member. He went on to join the Board in 2002 and is currently serving as a State Builder Director.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University in 1971. He served as Chamber of Commerce Manager for Kaufman and Mt. Pleasant from 1972 to 1976 and Vice President of Nash, Robinson & Co. Building Supply from 1977 to 1986, a Real Estate Broker from 1987 to 1991, and Executive Director of the Temple Area Builders Association from 1991 to 2001. He also completed Harvard Education’s Achieving Excellence in Community Development in 2009 and became a Certified Association Executive in 1996. Roy is also a Texas Community Capital and Lakeview Community Capital Board Member.
Roy has been married to his wife Jane since 1971, and together they have two kids and six grandchildren. He loves spending time doing family activities and traveling.
